Eleni the Intern

September 12th, 2011 No comments

This summer DivergingSoul Media was fortunate enough to have the assistance of Eleni Maistrellis aka Eleni the Intern. Eleni, a junior at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, worked at the DivergingSoul Production lab about 20 hours a week from June to August.  Her ability to learn quickly and to shift gears between web, video a writing project made her a great addition to the DivergingSoul team.  Eleni spent a lot of her time in WordPress, writing for our blog and supporting our WordPress based customer sites.  She also did video production work on some of our YMCA projects and she helped design the DivergingSoul Media 5th Anniversary t-shirts.  A big thank you goes out to Eleni from the DivergingSoul team. All your hard work is very much appreciated and we hope to have you back again soon!

Web Development – A start to finish approach

January 7th, 2011 No comments

Building a website or blog for your company can be a daunting task.  The first obvious step is to find a designer who is creative and builds attractive sites. Once you have a designer however the “fun” doesn’t end.  You need to have someone optimize your site for search engines, shoot and edit video, take staff photos, create animations, develop backend systems for content management, and the list goes on.  At DivergingSoul Media production, a division of GraVoc Associates, we offer a full service,  start to finish approach to developing your website.  We begin by meeting with you to find out out your goals, expectations and budget for your web development project.  After meeting with you we draft up a design that reflects your company’s style and branding while maintaing web standards and techniques use by today’s most popular sites.  Once a design is in place we develop and build the site code from scratch or put the design on top of a CMS (content management system) platform such as WordPress.

DivergingSoul Media can even handle all the extras that make your site “pop” such as flash animations, video production, and high quality photography.  After your web site has been built, we can optimize it for search engines using our custom organic SEO (search engine optimization) formula.  This will help your site get found online by new patrons and clients.  Part of our custom SEO process is building social networking portals such as blogs and Faceboook pages and integrating those portals back into your main website .

DivergingSoul is a “one stop shop” for all your web development needs taking the hasel out of finding several contractors to build a complete and attractive website.  Come check out our web development portfolio or see some of our video production and animation work in our video portfolio.

“Back to School” with Educational Staff Pages (ESP)

September 9th, 2010 No comments

ESPLast year we launched an exciting partnership with Lynn Classical High School (Lynn, MA) to create educational staff webpages for their faculty.  The program, coined ESP, was a great success and provided LCH’s staff a way to engage their students with a medium they are very familiar with, the Internet.  DivergingSoul’s Educational Staff Pages gives teachers and administrators a simple way to post homework assignments, class schedules, links and materials for class topics, and an online forum to have discussions that extend beyond the walls of the classroom.  Take a look at all of the features DiveringSoul’s ESP program has to offer by downloading our information sheet here: http://www.divergingsoul.com/esp.pdf

Corporate Training Videos

May 13th, 2010 No comments

It has been said that nearly 65% of people consider themselves to be visual learners.  That is why today more than ever businesses are turning to visual training aids to educate their staff.  DivergingSoul has been fortunate enough to work with several different organizations to help produce unique video training materials.  The companies we have worked with have all had a different approach to training.  Some companies have chosen a very formal and traditional tone for their materials.  Other clients have taken a more light-hearted approach to training.  No matter what the tone, DivergingSoul has helped these clients transform their often tedious training materials into dynamic media presentations.  With a combination of video production, animation and web development we’re able to create unique training materials on a variety of budgets.  DivergingSoul Media Production is based in Peabody, MA just outside of Boston.  We work with companies both large and small throughout Massachusetts and the rest of New England.  If you’d like to see some of our latest corporate training video productions please contact us today or visit us online at www.divergingsoul.com.

New Updates for DivergingSoul’s DS2 Network

April 1st, 2010 No comments

We are pleased to announce there are some new developments within our digital sign network. The most notable change is that we now have a content management system for our clients to update their sign on their own. In the past we had simple ways of allowing vendors on the DS2 Network to make updates to their displays. Unfortunately these previous updating methods were clunky and did not give our clients direct access to their content. With DS2′s new content management system client’s can completely manage all of their content by adding and removing advertisements, setting ads to run for specific lengths of time, changing the order in which the ads appear and much more. This new content management system is web based and can be accessed from any computer through a secure login system. The DS2 content management system is very easy to use and gives clients the ability to update multiple display with a few simple clicks.

DivergingSoul is proud to be a full service digital sign solution providing everything from installation to production and content management. To learn more about joining the DS2 network and adding digital signage to your business please visit www.ds2network.com.
