“Back to School” with Educational Staff Pages (ESP)

Last year we launched an exciting partnership with Lynn Classical High School (Lynn, MA) to create educational staff webpages for their faculty. The program, coined ESP, was a great success and provided LCH’s staff a way to engage their students with a medium they are very familiar with, the Internet. DivergingSoul’s Educational Staff Pages gives teachers and administrators a simple way to post homework assignments, class schedules, links and materials for class topics, and an online forum to have discussions that extend beyond the walls of the classroom. As a technology consulting company we like to stay fresh with the latest trends and practices. The month of April kept us on our toes. With Apple vs. Adobe, HTML5, and the introduction of Open Graph we have been busy keeping a step ahead. Things are moving fast especially in the web development arena.

Facebook’s Open Graph protocol looks like a valuable tool for any business and their web marketing campaign. We will be integrating DivergingSoul and it’s network of websites into the social graph in the upcoming months and will be using this blog and site as a testing ground. Last week DivergingSoul helped Champion’s Catering (www.championscatering.com) in Peabody, MA design their new website. Champion’s was looking for a simple web site to drive their online business and display their services. We used elements of flash at the bottom of the home page by creating a “grill” like video loop to accent the home page design. Some other features include an imbedded news blog and calendar so the Champion’s Team can keep their availability up to date online and also keep their patrons informed of their latest news and events. DivergingSoul also helped Champion’s redesign their logo which is displayed prominently at the top of their website. Behind the scenes we used DivergingSoul’s custom SEO (search engine optimization) formula to improve Champion’s Catering organic results in search engine queries. We’re proud to announce that July 6, 2009 marked the third year of operation for DivergingSoul Media Production. We’d like to thank all of our friends, family and clients for their continued support of our company and mission.

DivergingSoul was founded on the mission to create progressive digital media that parted course from the norm (“Diverging”) but carried our true stamp of passion and creativity (“Soul”). Our company set out not to become “another video production company” but we set out to become a company who used the latest in digital media technology to create affordable and unique business media solutions.
